Christmas Party

  Our Wilrose centre celebrated our 2022 Christmas party with a disco day and pizza and Ice cream for lunch. We all had so much fun.

Socialising at the Tauranga Citz Club

 I enjoyed myself at the Tauranga Citz Club. I had a nice cold glass of raspberry lemonade and saw my friends from Connect 20.

Santa’s helper

 This week I’ve been up to the supermarket to choose the ice cream flavours for our Christmas party dessert. Then I came back to the centre to help wrap Christmas presents for everyone and have helped to decorate trees, I felt like Santa’s helper!

Had a a good day with my friends taking a stroll at Yatton Park this morning then looked at Op shops that afternoon. 

 

Karaoke

 I had a lot of fun singing some of my favorite songs at karaoke this week! 

Fresh air and walk !!

We finally had a break with the rain today, so we were able to enjoy some nice fresh air and go for a walk. 

It was just what we needed !!!!

 

Socialising

 I had a lovely morning out with my friends. We went to the 16th Avenue cafe and I had a delicious strawberry thick shake. I have also bumped into my good friend Christel twice in 1 week. 

 

Garden compost

It was good getting out in our Wilrose garden while the rain held off. We’ve made a new compost area and got the garden prepped for when we put our tunnel house up. It’s going to be good to spend more time out there in summer. 

Personal book

 I had a lot of fun sticking my favourite magazine pictures into my personal book! It’s looking really good and I’m really happy with what I have done! Today it was pictures of places I would like to go.

Birthday celebrations

 I celebrated my birthday this week. Everyone sung me happy birthday at the centre and some of my friends even gave me special cards and presents. I went and got an ice cream and sat on the beach at Pilot Bay. It was a great day! 

A new style for Priscilla

 I love being creative with fashion. My friend, Taylor, and I re-styled our mannequin Priscilla for our Halloween disco.

Day out at Omokoroa

 I had a great day out at Omokoroa beach hanging with my friends for the day and having a picnic lunch. I did some cartwheels along the sand and played at the park. I enjoyed being out in the fresh air and having a fun relaxing day feeling the sand between my toes. 

Swimming at Greerton Pools

 I enjoyed a relaxing swim at Greerton Pools this week.

Dumpling Workshop

 I had fun with my friend Taylor learning how to make dumplings at a workshop held at the Historic Village. I thought the vegetable dumplings were delicious.

Blossom Trees

 I had a fun morning exploring cherrywood. My friends and I saw some beautiful blossom Trees, vegetable gardens, read history information and looked over at Mount Maunganui.
