Christmas time

It's been a great last couple of weeks at work. We had our Christmas party which had some awesome pacific island dancers and music. I'm going to miss my friends while we are on Christmas holidays and can't wait to see them all again next year!

It was an awesome day - I enjoyed seeing the dolphins and spending time with my friends.

Ten Pin Bowling

This morning my friends and I went Ten Pin Bowling. It was heaps of fun!

Music session

My friends and I practiced playing the guitars today. I have a list of songs, mainly country music that I am looking forward to learning to play.

Curls everywhere...

I had an awesome Pamper session where I got my hair done. I chose to have curls done and I really like my hair like that, check me out.

Learning through discovery research

I learnt a lot of facts today about makeup and beauty products. I did a lot of research about the hygiene and ingredients and some dos and donuts when it comes to products. I am looking forward to our centre day spa with massages and hair treatments.

Calf club day

I went to the calf club day with the learning through discovery group. We saw lots of different animals, and saw which ones won best in their categories.

Guitar

We learned the names of the parts of a guitar in life skills and began learning some basic chords. We are going to learn to play happy birthday!

Horse races

I enjoyed going to watch the horse races at the Tauranga race course. I did a little bit of research about the history of the race course before we went. They have been having horse races there for 150 years!

Orchid Show

I enjoyed a outing to the orchid show

Bowling

I enjoyed going ten pin bowling and hanging out with my friends. 

Samoan Chop Suey

I helped prepare the garlic and the ginger for the chop suey that we had today. It was yummy! I had four bowls of it!

Rock n roll

Today I did some dancing. I like to dance

I liked making the Samoan lolly lei s. We used glad wrap and chewy lollies and tied around each lolly a ribbon tie, so check it out.

Festival Day

I enjoyed the company (“Circus in a flash”) and I enjoyed everything I was challenged to do. I enjoyed all of it.

A scone for the day

I enjoyed cooking lemonade scones in cooking this week! I'm going to take them home to have for afternoon tea. Yummy!

Wolf Painting

I am working on this wolf painting - I love the texture of it - it looks real! 

Socialising with friends

we had a lovely day catching up with an old friend, we made pikelets and had a little tea party.

Wetlands at the lakes

I had a great time looking at the scenery at the lakes. It was such a beautiful day and I loved learning about the birds and the wetlands.

Rocking out

It was a  rock music theme in music this week. I sang Good Charlotte and rocked out to the songs my friends sang too!

Marshalls animal farm

I enjoyed a day out to Marshalls animal farm. My favourite was the horses and the deer. I got to feed some of the animals and I learnt a lot of fact today.
