Saving up

I’ve recently been washing cars at the centre. I would like to use the money I make to save for shopping and going to more places for lunch with friends. 

Lunch at the Mall with my friend

I enjoyed a yummy burger lunch at The Kiwi Grill at the Lakes. This was one of my goals and I chose to go with my friend Tui. We did a bit of window shopping too. I used my own money to pay for my lunch and enjoyed choosing something from the menu. 

Friendships

I made lots of questions for this ‘question box’. It helps friends to ask each other questions so they can get to know each other better. Here I am learning more about Matt. 

Picnic at Little Waihi

I had fun with my friends at Little Waihi beach. It was really cold so we warmed up with some hot chips, sitting alongside the beach. It was nice to explore the Maketu coastline area. I would like to go to pukahina beach. 

Cultural Day

I spoke aloud the opening karakia at the beginning of our cultural day. I also did Ti Rakau and tried out some Chinese ribbon dancing. I loved listening to the Native American Indian music at lunchtime also.
