Today I helped to decorate our Christmas tree with the angels we made and collected shells. It looks beautiful

Photography

I chose to go back to Charmichael park this week because I really want to improve my photography skills of birds. We got to see some really cute babies.

A day in the life on the farm

Farm life is so busy, feed to prepare, animals to feed, finished cleaning out the stable ready for our chickens, l just love the horses and Charlie the golden retriever

We put up a white board in the tack room so we know what our tasks fo the day are. We have learnt lots already and I am having so much fun.

Birthday

This week was my 28th birthday. I had a lovely day and chose to go to Charmichael park to photograph the ducks.

Farm life

I really enjoyed photographing the ducks, pukekos and baby ducklings at Carmichael park.

Cooking.

Cooking up a storm in the kitchen, toasted sandwichs, very yum.

I really enjoyed getting out in the sunshine with my photography group and taking some photos at the beach. A giant container ship was docking at the port and I got a good photo of it!

Drama production

I supported my friends by watching them perform Sleeping Beauty and the Pirates for drama.

Sketching

Today we checked out a large mural of the birth of Venus painting in town. It is a copy of a famous painting by Sandro Botticelli and we visited the Zeus gallery to see an exhibition by Te Marunui Hotene. Some of his paintings were done on trampolines.

Disco

I danced the day away to fantastic disco music.

I am really enjoying colouring the Karearea which is the bush Hawk. 

Marae Visit

We visited Ohinemutu Marae. It was really cool. I took photos of the beautiful scenery, statues and buildings. I thought it would be cool to sketch them. 

Wingspan

Wingspan is a centre in Rotoua for birds of prey. I liked the falcon and model of ridge tail eagle and I liked the owl.

Upcycling

This is the bag I am working on in upcycling. It is made from a pair of jeans and fabric. I have been freying the Jean fabric with a quick unpick.

Memorial park

I really enjoyed my outing to the memorial park today. We walked around the park and had a swing.

On a beautiful sunny day we sat and sketched the view of Mt Maunganui from Kulim Park.

I love taking photos of seagulls and sea views in photography.

Merivale Community garden

This is our new garden at the Merivale Community Garden. This week we helped to dig over the soil, getting it ready to plant.

Worm farm

Today I helped to make a worm farm for the Wilrose garden. I collected some leaves to put in the bucket.
