Christmas celebrations

We have almost finished up at the centre for the year. We celebrated Christmas this week and I made a speech to everyone about how much I've enjoyed this year and how much I like going to the farm.

Music

I sang a couple of songs this week in music - one by Leanne Rimes that I dedicated to my friend Fynn. 

Bus

We caught the bus this morning in life skills. We figured out which bus to catch, times of buses, where they went and how to pay for it. I used a smart card to pay for the trip. It was such fun and I want to do it again.

Today I worked on my nature activity book, supported my friends by watching the Christmas production they were in and making smoothies in cooking.

I had a great time taking photos out at Yatton Park. I loved the way the water looks in these photos.

Farm day

I love Fridays because it's farm day! We had to practice putting the halter on the horses and guiding them around the ring and through various circuits. We also fed the pigs and I collected the eggs from the chickens.

It's my Birthday

Yay it's my birthday - it's my last year in my 20s! I'm going to enjoy celebrating with my friends. 

Writers club

I'm writing out a recipe for oven baked vegetable chips that we are going to make in our cooking session this week.

TalentQuest

We had a fun day for our TalentQuest. I enjoyed getting up at the end and having a singsong with my friends. 

Lemon muffins

I researched a recipe for lemon muffins and we made them in our cooking session this week following my recipe. 

Music

Music session this week - lots of singing - I chose to sing a song called "Hope it gives you hell"

SPCA education

We got to go and visit the SPCA and learn a lot about what they do there. We got to hear a few stories and even meet a few puppies and go go a tour of the SPCA. The puppies were so cute!

Learning through discovery

We got to watch a puppet show today. It was really funny and made me laugh a lot. There were lots of different puppet characters in the show.

Farm

I look forward to friday when we go to Ellendene Farm and work with the beautiful horses.

Chirps

I help out at the Chirp Op Shop and I am really enjoying it. I love fashion and this is the right setting for me to be in lots of clothes and fashion every where

I've sent mum an email with some photos of me working at the farm and now I'm researching some native New Zealand wildlife for my portfolio that I am working on!

We made smoothies in our cooking session using milk, bananas, berries and vanilla essence then I made my own smoothie recipe!
